Taylor Otto arrives in Calgary with extensive professional experience spanning three continents and a résumé that includes stops in the NWSL, Scotland’s top flight and Australia’s A-League Women.

The Cleveland, Ohio resident was selected 11th overall by Racing Louisville FC in the 2021 NWSL Draft after a standout collegiate career at the University of North Carolina. Otto appeared in 84 matches for the Tar Heels, helping one of the most decorated programs in NCAA women’s soccer remain among the nation’s elite.

Following her time in Louisville, Taylor continued to build her professional resume internationally, playing for Celtic FC in Scotland, Gotham FC in the NWSL and Melbourne City FC in Australia. During her time with Melbourne City, she became a regular in the starting lineup across three A-League Women seasons, adding valuable international experience to her game. Now with Calgary Wild FC, Taylor brings increased experience, leadership and defensive depth to the club as it continues to build for the future.
