A versatile defender and midfielder, Hannah Boughton joins Calgary Wild FC after a standout collegiate career across three NCAA Division I programs and a successful stint with Minnesota Aurora FC, where she helped the club reach the USL W League semifinals.
Originally from Colleyville, Texas, Hannah graduated from the University of Central Florida in December 2025 following stops at the University of Missouri and Baylor University. Across nearly 80 NCAA Division I appearances, she established herself as a dependable and adaptable player, capable of contributing across the midfield and back line.
In her senior season at UCF, Hannah played a career-high 1,458 minutes while helping the Knights qualify for the NCAA Tournament. After beginning the season in midfield, she transitioned seamlessly to the back line, starting the team’s final 12 matches and playing every minute in seven contests. She also scored in UCF’s opening-round NCAA Tournament match and earned Academic All-Big 12 and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honours.
Hannah began her collegiate career at Missouri, where she made an immediate impact as a freshman, starting 16 matches in the Southeastern Conference while recording one goal and three assists. She then spent two seasons at Baylor, appearing in 38 matches and contributing three assists before transferring to UCF for her final collegiate campaign.
A highly regarded youth prospect, Hannah was ranked among the top midfielders in the United States in the Class of 2022 by TopDrawerSoccer. Her versatility, work rate and ability to play multiple positions make her a valuable addition to Calgary Wild FC’s roster.
