Role Overview

Calgary Wild FC is looking for a dynamic, detail-oriented Sales Manager, Ticketing to drive revenue growth across season tickets, groups, premium products, and single-match sales. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Partnerships & Sales, this role is essential in helping us deliver an exceptional fan experience and fill the stadium.

The ideal candidate has a proven history of exceeding sales targets and developing strong client relationships. Experience in sports, entertainment, hospitality, live events, or other service-oriented industries is an asset; however, candidates from all industries are encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time position with a seasonally dynamic schedule, including select evenings, weekends, and match days.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Ticket Sales

  • Champion the club’s ticketing strategy, leading sales, service, and retention efforts while inspiring a high-performing team, cultivating fan relationships, and driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Support the ticketing team by establishing performance goals, monitoring results, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Track sales performance and provide weekly reporting on KPIs, trends, and opportunities.
  • Support the Manager, Ticketing Operations & Fan Services with the development and execution of season ticket membership strategies designed to drive acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
  • Develop and implement group sales initiatives that expand community engagement, attract new audiences, and maximize attendance.
  • Create and oversee premium seating and hospitality sales strategies, identifying opportunities to grow premium revenue and enhance the fan experience.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and customer data to inform ticketing strategies and achieve departmental revenue targets.
  • Identify new ticketing opportunities and innovative sales approaches to increase attendance, fan engagement, and overall ticket revenue.

Match-Day Responsibilities

  • Support box office operations on match days.
  • Ensure premium, group, and season ticket members receive concierge-level support at all times, with additional support from the Wild FC ticketing team.

Customer Service & Fan Experience

  • Collaborate with the Community Relations and Marketing teams on fulfilling ticket donations, special programs, and community ticketing initiatives.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Partnerships, Community, and Match Ops to ensure ticketing deliverables are executed.
  • Coordinate partner ticket inventory for sponsorship packages.
  • Support CRM/data integrations for email campaigns and fan engagement.

What We’re Looking For

  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is proactive, goal-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional fan experiences while driving ticket revenue growth.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within professional sports, entertainment, or the live events industry. Experience in these sectors will be considered an asset. Experience with Ticketmaster systems, FEVO, and access control platforms is considered an asset.
  • Strong technical skills: Excel/Sheets, reporting tools, and CRM understanding.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills, with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences that deepen fan engagement.
  • Ability to work flexible hours during the season, including evenings and weekends.
  • Thrives in a fast-moving, start-up-style environment and eager to be part of building something new in women’s sports.
