Calgary Wild FC is Calgary’s women’s professional soccer club and a proud competitor in the Northern Super League. Position Summary
We are looking for a creative, energetic Summer Intern to support our content team with content creation across Calgary Wild FC’s digital platforms. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sports, storytelling, and social media, with a strong interest in capturing and creating engaging photo and video content.
You’ll gain hands-on experience working in a fast-paced professional sports environment, contributing directly to match day content, social media, and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation (Photo & Video)
- Capture behind-the-scenes content at:
- Match days
- Training sessions
- Community events
- Shoot and edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok)
- Assist with photography for social media and digital use
Social Media Support
- Assist in creating daily content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms
- Support live posting during match days and events
- Help brainstorm creative ideas, trends, and content concepts
- Engage with fans through comments, polls, and interactive content
Match Day Support
- Assist with real-time content capture during games
- Support digital storytelling of the fan experience
- Capture key moments on and off the pitch
Creative & Campaign Support
- Assist in content creation for marketing campaigns and promotions
- Support partner content and giveaway initiatives
- Help organize and tag content for future use
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field
- Passion for social media, sports, and digital storytelling
- Basic skills in:
- Video editing (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)
- Photography (DSLR or iPhone content creation)
- Strong understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends
- Creative, proactive, and willing to learn
- Available for evenings and weekends (match days required)
