Position Summary
Calgary Wild FC is seeking a Marketing Manager to support the execution and day-to-day management of the club’s marketing initiatives. This role is best suited for a mid-level marketer who is ready to take on more ownership, work closely with senior leadership, and gain hands-on experience across ticketing, brand, partnerships, and match day execution within a professional sports environment.
This is an execution-focused position with strategic exposure, ideal for someone with strong fundamentals who is excited to grow alongside a fast-scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Campaign Execution
- Support the planning and execution of the club’s annual marketing plan
- Build and manage campaigns for season tickets, partial plans, flex packs, single-game tickets, and themed matches
- Create and manage promotional offers and campaigns within Tradeable Bits (Tradeable Bits experience is recommended but not required)
Advertising & Agency Coordination
- Act as the day-to-day liaison with external advertising agencies
- Coordinate timelines, creative assets, and approvals
- Track performance and assist with campaign optimization
Email & CRM Marketing
- Build and deploy email campaigns using Mailchimp
- Maintain consistent email cadence aligned with marketing and ticketing priorities
- Support subscriber list management and segmentation
Social Media Planning & Content Coordination
- Organize and maintain the marketing-focused social media content calendar
- Ensure ticketing, partner, and campaign priorities are reflected in content planning
- Coordinate asset needs and deadlines with internal teams
Match Day & Event Support
- Assist with match day marketing activations and themed games
- Support special events and in-stadium experiences throughout the season
- Assist with the execution of partner marketing assets
- Coordinate timelines and materials for sponsor activations and campaigns
Who This Role Is For
- A marketer with 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, or events
- Someone comfortable executing campaigns independently, but eager to learn from senior leaders
- A strong organizer who enjoys juggling multiple timelines and priorities
- Experience in sports, live events, or entertainment is an asset, but not required
- Increased workload is expected during the season, balanced by lighter schedules in non-match months
