Calgary Wild FC is Calgary’s women’s professional soccer club and a proud competitor in the Northern  Super League. Position Summary

The Account Manager plays a critical frontline role in building long-term relationships with Calgary Wild FC season ticket members. Reporting to the Manager, Ticketing, this position supports season ticket sales and retention while delivering exceptional customer service across all ticketing touchpoints. The role blends revenue generation, account management, and fan experience, ensuring supporters feel valued, informed, and connected to the club.


This is a relationship-driven role ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with fans, solving problems, and contributing to a growing professional sports organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

Season Ticket Sales & Account Management
  • Manage a portfolio of season ticket members, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the season and renewal cycle.
  • Drive new season ticket sales through outbound calls, emails, community events, and in-stadium interactions.
  • Execute season ticket renewals, upgrades, add-ons, and referrals with a focus on retention and revenue growth.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the member experience and increase lifetime value.
  • Track all sales and service activity accurately within the club’s CRM and ticketing systems.
Customer Service & Fan Experience
  • Deliver best-in-class customer service to all ticket buyers via phone, email, and in-person support.
  • Resolve ticketing issues efficiently and professionally, including order errors, payment questions, and account updates.
  • Track suite sales for each match, including ticket distribution and communication
  • Support single-game ticket buyers and group customers as needed during peak sales periods.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Calgary Wild FC, consistently representing the club’s values and commitment to inclusivity and community.
Game Day & Event Support
  • Assist with ticketing operations on game days with box office support, suite hosting, and fan inquiries.
  • Engage directly with fans on match days to strengthen relationships and identify sales or service opportunities.
  • Support special events, member experiences, and community activations related to ticket holders.
Collaboration & Administration
  • Work closely with partnerships, marketing, and operations teams to ensure a seamless fan journey.
  • Contribute to ticket sales campaigns, promotions, and fan communications.
  • Provide feedback and insights on fan sentiment, sales trends, and service opportunities.
  • Assist with reporting on sales performance, retention metrics, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support the Ticketing department and the overall club objectives

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in ticket sales, account management, customer service, or hospitality (sports or entertainment experience is an asset).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and retention targets.
  • High level of professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving ability.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fan-facing environment.
  • Experience with CRM and ticketing platforms is considered an asset.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends for matches and events.
